Saks Construction

"UPDATE: Sadly, 1 of the pocket doors came off its runners just a few months after being installed. Despite calling and messaging Dan multiple times, he never took my calls or responses to my messages. I ended up having to employ another carpenter at my own expense to fix the problem (he advised that the doors had been fitted too loosely- he could tell this by examining the door that was still hanging on by a thread). I’m now left with damaged architraving and paintwork to redo. It’s such a shame as I was really happy with Dan’s original work and mistakes do happen- but I do think he should have come back to fix it. Original review- Dan separated my large living room into two rooms by building a stud wall and inserting pocket doors which look amazing. He was so pleasant to have around and was very clean and tidy. He then came back another time to add treads and risers and a back to my open stairs. Again he did a fab job. Would highly recommend."

"Great work from Dan who transformed the master bedroom in our house. He clearly knows carpentry! And is able to communicate his understanding and knowledge with his clients."

"Dan is incredible at what he does. He’s completed 3/4 projects for us and we’ve been so happy with all of them. I also believe it’s incredibly important to be able to meet your clients where they are at in their knowledge and decision making process, and Dan has always balanced this perfectly. Quite simply, if we have a project that needs doing, we will only call Dan"

"Very impressed with the quality of work. Second floor extension done to a very high standard. We were very happy with Saks construction that we have asked them to come and do some more work for us this year. Would highly recommend"
