Pavilion Scaffolding Ltd Scaffolders Brighton

"Inconsiderate contractors, placed vertical poles blocking steps down to property and in front of front door. Access blocked. Potential fire hazard. It would have taken no extra time to have placed the poles slightly to one side. Quite why they think that this is acceptable is a mystery."

"Pavilion erected scaffolding for redecorating, and rammed a pole straight through the base of a 50 year old wisteria that ran along the back of five buildings. When we complained, they became aggressive and told us the plant shouldn't have been there! The damage could have been easily avoided by moving the pole six inches to one side, but they obviously couldn't be bothered. The whole plant died and we had to deal with some very upset neighbours as a result."

"I was very wary having read the reviews but,as a result of my experience, they are completely misleading. The guys turned up on time to erect the scaffolding and did so in a polite, unobtrusive and happy manner. When they were booked to dismantle it all, once again they arrived on time, took it all down efficiently and cleaned up without any fuss during which they were polite and we had a laugh with them all. Thank you."

"Absolutely awful people. Working on my neighbours building so they needed to put scaffolding up in our back garden. Despite the fact that they were given my contact information they made no effort to contact us. Without any warning I came home one day to find they had literally broken into our garden and trampled all over our plants, crushing more with the scaffolding itself. I was in several weeks later when they happened to return, again with no warning, and proceeded to break into our garden again, standing on our garden furniture and trampling all over the plants again. When I complained to them about it they were extremely rude and clearly couldn't give a monkeys. Nasty pieces of work."

"Fairly average price and the scaffolding itself is not bad - but didn't check properly with us how to build the scaffolding (how many floors etc) before they did it. Had to call them out a 2nd time to add an extra floor because the initial top floor was 8ft from the roof despite telling them right at the start that the scaffolding was for roof repairs so needed roof access. Absolutely SHOCKINGLY bad at answering the phone. It is neigh on impossible to contact them on either of their phones (landline/mobile) t just rings forever and leaving a voicemail is pointless as well."
