Customer Reviews
"Great service - Alexandra was really responsive, communicated quickly and clearly throughout, and she and her colleague did a thorough and careful end of tenancy clean. The property looked sparkling. Would highly recommend."
"Excellent Service, short notice was no problem. They cleaned very thoroughly. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend. Thank you so much."
"My daughter has lived in Brighton/Hove for a number of years and when moving rental properties we have helped her clean the property she is leaving. The last couple of times we have used local end of tenancy cleaning companies. Yesterday we used Maid In Time and could not have been more impressed. Alexandra was fantastic from start to finish, great communication and a ‘very’ competitive and fair price. The end results were also excellent. I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending this company."
"I had a great experience booking with Maid in Time. Communication was done via email and WhatsApp. Cleaning was done on the date and time arranged. We couldn’t be there in person to let the team in but they got in just fine via our lockbox. Received a text to say everything was done when the clean was finished. Everything was left very clean and tidy and the oven looked like new. Would recommend."
"Avoid, avoid, avoid. We booked this service for a deep clean. No one turned up at the pre-arranged time. No one answered the phone either but after 20 minutes we were able to contact someone via MMS. Due to an error on their side they hadn't arranged the booking. We had to come back 4 hours later to let a single cleaner in at this new time. They were apologetic but it was still a significant inconvenience. Things got worse from there. The 'results' in these photos speak for themselves. Limescale and mould untouched. The oven essentially as it was. Fridge-freezer still dirty. The floors still dirty, clearly not mopped. We sent these to the company who (when they finally replied - see below) agreed "it looks like they didn't touch these". In essence, they seemed to be agreeing that no cleaning was done. They do have a reclean clause but I was unable to contact anyone (once again) to discuss this. In reality, I'm not sure if this would even be a "reclean" as I genuinely can't see what has been cleaned in the first place. As a result we were left cleaning it ourselves. We obviously won't pay maid in time and are trying to get our deposit back. Astonishingly, despite all this maid in time (who only responded when I told them we won't pay) are now threatening to take us through the small claims court to get the money for (not) cleaning the house! I let them know we would be writing this review in the hope that they would see sense but they have called this 'blackmail' in attempt to "ruin" them. I'm afraid their customer service is as poor as their cleaning. Note: they have no refunded me my deposit and are not pursuing me through the small claims court - hence I have doubled the number of stars. However, I post this review as a warning to others. Be aware that all their extensive replies about taking us to court and their policy arrived instantly and are likely pre-written implying this is their usual approach. My advice is not to give in and threaten to write a review, its the only thing that seems to help."
