Expert Cleaning

"My house I would say normally is in a good clean condition- I need a deep clean to clean the stuff I don’t do on a daily or weekly basis! This was horrible experience 🫩 I did ask for a deep clean day before Xmas for a £350 , they didn’t do nothing- no mirrors, no dust , no radiators, no kitchen cabinets, no nothing no skirting boards no tiles in the bathroom it was just shocking! After one hour they called me (3 males) and said we finish 2 rooms- when I walked in I thought they are joking- nothing was done! I ask why you don’t do dust on top of my wardrobe is only one minute job- they said it was 2 many things on top (only one empty shoe box) when I ask why they didn’t do the mirror (on my desk ) same thing- they said that there was to many expensive things on my desk - and they didn’t want to break anything. Deep clean it is Deep (for example things you don’t do every week),like dust on top of the wardrobe, or bathroom tiles, the worst thing was that I ask them to come before Xmas as I have my family coming over and they didn’t do a good job- which means my house was a mess on Xmas day 😵‍💫 really really disappointed! And I will never call them again- just disaster!"

"No words!!!! Absolutely Disgusting. Misleading Company. Taken this to Trading Standards. Never seen anything like this! Have asked for Deposit back and been refused. This was a Booked Deep Clean including Oven. They didn’t even bring Professional Cleaning Products. Even the Mirrors were too much for them. All Smeared. I wouldn’t wish anyone else this appalling service. I also asked if the 3 Men who attended were DBS Checked. No Reply on that."

"I would hate for anyone else to experience what I did. Approximately 3 months ago I employed Expert cleaning at a cost of £310 for a deep clean. Unfortunately I was unable to be present at the time as I was staying with my partner following a back injury and was very immobile at that time. After about a week it became apparent to me from neighbours that Approximately 20 plus bin bags had been left in my front garden. To be fair I spoke to the manager and she arranged for the bin bags to be placed in my kitchen. I was not well enough to go home until 2 weeks ago when I started going through the bin bags. I was both distressed and disgusted about what the cleaners had thrown away, very disrespectfully, including personal belongings like photo's, cards from family and friends, my childhood teddy bear, Ted, who I have had all my life. They also threw away clothes, shoes,pyjamas, slippers, dressing gowns etc, also reading glasses, remote controls and land line phones. To be honest the list goes on and it has cost me more time, energy and money to replace everything. Of course some things can never be replaced. To summarise I wish I had been well enough to supervise this clean but that wasn't my fault. It is clear that the cleaner's just threw out whatever was in the way whilst cleaning, with no regard or respect for the importance of personal belongings. Please be very careful when employing this company. I would recommend that you go elsewhere. Further to my previous post, I checked the website and it said they were open 24 hours, so I called them. I was received by a very stroppy woman who told me to call in the morning and then put the phone down on me. Customer services?!?! Following the response from expert cleaning to my review, clarification is needed. There were definitely not 100 empty bottles of alcohol. There were a few but I recycle every week. When I was going through the bin bags I certainly did not find that amount. I found 5 empty bottles. Before the clean, I explained to the manager that the flat was cluttered in terms of belongings as I am in the process of moving house and items such as clothes on the bed should be put in a cupboard, or in bin bags, At no point did I say it was OK to shove all my personal belongings in bin bags. They also put shoes, clothes etc in the same bags as food had been put in the same bags. I found mouldy cheese and other rotting food in the same bags as clothes. They cleared my cupboards out in the kitchen and threw away cook books, all the things in a cupboard that contained dog food etc. If someone cannot differentiate between personal items such as photos, books, teddy bears etc then something is wrong. It is true that I had a positive conversation with the manager about my dissatisfaction that 20 plus bin bags had been left in my front garden and because she was helpful in arranging for them to be put inside, I did suggest that I may use them in the future. This was before I had to spend 2 weeks going through them and found what I described previously. There is a very clear difference between rubbish and clutter and the fact that rubbish was put in the same bags with personal belongings is evidence of that. I have also read other people's reviews and quite a few were negative. Some people described a very similar experience to me and one even said that some items had been stolen. I'm not trying to ruin this small business but I am entitled to my opinion. Whatever they say about my health issues, I am still recovering from a back injury and have arthritis in my knee. This is why I was unable to be here for the clean as I was staying with my partner who was looking after me. I was unable to come home for 3 months which is why I have posted this review at this time. The response from Expert cleaning simply proves my point. It is very defensive and the website does say they are open 24 hours. If it is only for emergencies out of office hours this should be made clear. The reason why I called at that time is irrelevant and they don't need to comment on that."

"I contacted Expert Cleaning (after trying other cleaning companies) and they were the most personable and helpful out of all of the Brighton and Hove cleaning companies. I cannot recommend them enough ~ they actually care about what they do and show it in their attention to detail and first class cleaning. I am so grateful to have found them ~ believe me, they are worth every penny and more, for the superlative cleaning that they produce!"

"Last month, came three men to clean my family’s apartment. They have a very strange way of doing the job, Soon after I told them what I needed to clean, each of them shut three rooms, so I had no chance to see what was going on. So I decided to sit on the sofa in the living room before they came in. They did okay as I was watching. The last one was to clean the kitchen, they shut the door again after they had been inside for one hour, and they were still talking and laughing when I opened the kitchen door to mention that the toilet was still very dirty and cobwebs everywhere, in fact they only cleaned the toilet door, and only the door didn't close. Looked Guilty on their face and tried to go off when they saw me. Only one man came did a very rough hoover then went. He asked me are you happy? I replied yes ‘out of politeness. As I don’t live there， A few days later I found a beautiful wall clock on the kitchen wall was gone, a wireless Hoover was gone, and a table Multifunctional clock with a thermometer was gone. As I don't like it there I don't know how many things were Stolen. Because you only looking for it then found it despaired. Paid £250 for three hours and a lot of things have been stolen. Was a big mistake. Never let three men come to your house to do the cleaning if not empty. That was my Sad lesson."
