"The company was contracted as part of a kitchen refurbishment to deal with the electricals including lighting. Part of the work was incorporating led strip lighting within new wall cupboards. A major failure with their work was to hide the transformers behind the cupboards without providing any access for replacement transformers (which inevitably fail eventually). When one of the transformers failed, I contacted the company to ask how the transformers could be accessed and the apparent owner of the company became defensive and blamed the kitchen fitters. But for the several thousands of pounds the company was paid, some basic coordination between the company and the fitters should have gone without saying."
