Bell Plastering & Damp-Proofing

"Bill Bell came highly recommended to me, to carry out extensive damp proofing work in my living room, bedroom and kitchen and has exceeded all my expectations. After his initial assessment and quote, Bill carried out the work to fit in with my tight timeline, which included taking the walls back to the brick, damp investigations, remedial work, installing damp proof membranes and external DPC, removing all debris, replacing plasterboard, re-plastering and finally cleaning everywhere, to give a finished result that is perfect. Bill is a great communicator, keeping me informed at every stage, with photos and commentary, even when I was out of the country, plus his courteous and professional manner make it a pleasure to have him on site. I cannot recommend Bell Plastering and Damp Proofing highly enough. Thank you so much. I have come back a year later to post the "after" photos to show the finished result and what a beautiful job he did. I lived with damp for 7 years and now have a perfect internal finish with no signs of damp."

"If you're looking for a reliable and professional damp-proofer/plasterer, look no further. We can highly recommend Bill (Bell Plastering & Damp-proofing). Bill has just completed some damp-proofing work in our lounge/diner. He kept us informed at each stage of the work. He was 'clean and tidy' (as far as anyone could be clean and tidy doing such work!). Bill is a hard-worker, trustworthy, good time-keeper, he has a friendly personality while remaining professional at all times. He clearly 'knows his stuff'. It's easy to pick the wrong tradespeople but we picked a winner! We are really pleased with his work."

"Very happy with the high quality and detail of the work, and Bill is an easy going and friendly person to have around too. Chimney flaunching, crown moulding and render renewal to three sides of Victorian chimney. Difficult to find people even willing to quote for the moulding restoration aspect of the job. Ended up only finding Bill because he did a near identical job for a neighbour!"

"Vey pleased that we used Bill damp works. His quote was way more competitive and the spec for the work much more thorough than any other quotes we received. The quality of the work was outstanding and the finishing was excellent. Bill was diligent, tidy, punctual and went out of his way to accomodate everything. Could not recommend him more highly."

"I'm so glad I found Bill. Bill just carried out damp proofing work in my bathroom which involved stripping back all the walls, installing waterproof membrane, insulation in walls and ceiling, and re-plastering. Bill was amazing with communication from start to finish and stayed on track with schedule and dealt with unforeseen issues (some rot in ceiling and floor) quickly, efficiently, and with great care. I'm so glad I had someone so reliable on the job - he took all the stress out of it. He was an absolute pleasure to deal with and the finish looks fantastic. I would 100% recommend him and will be going directly to him for all future plastering work. Thanks Bill!!"
